EXTRA wheelchairs are crafted by our company, founded in 1992, and are now trusted and distributed in nearly 25 countries across the globe.
In addition to our headquarters, we operate a strategic office in Hamburg, Germany, supporting our expanding international presence. From Argentina to China, and from Australia to Norway, our growing network of carefully selected distributors reflects the increasing global demand for EXTRA.
Every EXTRA wheelchair is the result of exceptional craftsmanship, brought to life by a highly specialized team whose expertise and dedication set the highest standards in the industry. Each chair is fully bespoke and entirely handcrafted, tailored precisely to the individual—because true performance and comfort begin with a perfect fit.
In developing EXTRA, we conducted a comprehensive study of all modern wheelchair models used worldwide. We closely examined the needs of both everyday users and elite athletes, analyzing every detail with precision. Beyond this, we integrated forward-thinking innovations designed to enhance active lifestyles and elevate athletic performance. The outcome is EXTRA: a wheelchair that delivers unparalleled strength, remarkable lightness, exceptional speed, and refined ergonomic excellence.
EXTRA is manufactured from 7020 T6 aluminum, a high-performance material used in the aerospace industry. This premium-grade aluminum is specially produced in Germany and imported exclusively for our production, ensuring superior quality and reliability.
Through its uncompromising quality and unique manufacturing process, EXTRA has positioned itself ahead of many international competitors. Furthermore, numerous features that are offered as paid upgrades by other brands are included as standard—at no extra cost—with every EXTRA wheelchair.
Today, alongside our premium daily wheelchairs, we also design and produce specialized performance wheelchairs for basketball, tennis, fencing, handball, rugby league, badminton, dance, and karate.
